Christopher Schneberger has been teaching photography for 20 years at the collegiate level (Columbia College, College of DuPage) and at community art centers. He is a working photographer with an extensive record of exhibitions including at the Annenberg Space for Photography in Los Angeles, Dorsky Projects in New York City, and Printworks Gallery in Chicago where he is represented. He is also on the board of directors of Perspective Gallery, a non-profit center for photography in Evanston, Illinois.
I would recommend this class. Chris was very knowledgable and clearly has teaching experience. He was very attentive to all various types of students. I walked out with more photography knowledge and skills/techniques even after already having taken a beginner course a few weeks prior. It was fun to learn a function or technique and then step outside and practice.

This class is great, and perfect for the person (like me) with high aspirations and an expensive camera but has never taken it off the auto setting. The class goes over all basics of using your camera, and I now feel like I'm not just guessing and getting lucky. I just wish I would have taken it years ago.

Chris, our presenter was very prepared and organized. Lots of useful info in a short period of time. Everyone was made to feel welcome and the information was adapted to individual cameras and photographers present. Great workshop!

The description of the class is spot on. Great beginners class to get familiar with your camera. I was able to learn the basics as well as some fancy tricks! The location of class is great, easy to get to from the train and in a cute little gallery. I left class feeling comfortable with my camera and motivated to get out and use it. The instructor is very knowledgable and able to break it down for all levels and people who aren't used to the lingo. Highly recommend this class and hope a second level is offered.

Small class size with one on one attention. We would sit and learn about a few different techniques and tips, and then apply them. And then review more techniques, and then apply them. It was a great way to learn and understand the topics. You were able to ask questions and review pictures right away. Great experience for a newbie digital camera person, who wants to learn how to use their D-SLR in more than just the automatic mode.
