Event Overview

In this class, Dabblers will prepare and cook a Neapolitan Pizza in a wood fired oven in my backyard. Just like an Italian pizzaiolo!

Discussion will include:
- "00" pizza dough and San Marzano pizza sauce preparation
- How to push and bead the dough
- Tossing techniques.

After ensuring optimal oven conditions each student will shape and dress their pizza (choice of margherita or funghi) on the peel (palo). They will then monitor the cooking process with the turning peel (palatino). Open discussion and favorite pizza stories are encouraged while enjoying your pie.

Stephen put a wood-fired oven in his backyard three years ago. Pizza making has changed his life and become a passion. He entertains many family members, friends and clients in his backyard over the spring and summer months and can't get enough of it. As much as he loves to see people eating pizza, he would like to meet like-minded "pizza crazy" people that want to cook them too.
