Event Overview

Yo! Have you ever listened to a Jay-Z, Notorious BIG, or a Kanye West and thought, "I wish I could do that!"? Well, it's time to unleash your inner emcee!

This is a highly interactive workshop. Everyone in the room will get to pick their own rap star name to start, and we'll learn about some fundamentals of rapping and how to put together a song.

After going through the basics, as a class we'll collectively come up with a topic to create a song about, and work as a group to write our very own rap.

Nervous you don't have mad skillz yet? Don't worry! This is a fun class meant for meeting new friends, having fun with old friends, and even team building. (Not to mention it's BYOB to help you take the edge off).

By the end of the night you'll look at words in a whole new way and be able to tell your friends and family you have your very own rap name and rap song!


The class is taught by Rajiv Nathan, who goes by the name Fenetik, and has been rapping for 10 years. He has released 2 mixtapes, and a handful of singles. You can check out some of his work at www.soundcloud.com/fenetik-raps.
