Event Overview

An excellent follow up to my Mold Making Techniques: Lifecasting Class, but also a grreat stand alone class to learn the fundamentals of mold-making through plaster and algenate life casts. Students will be able to take flexible algentate molds of each other's heads and/or faces and create life-like plaster castings from these molds that can be painted, decorated, and combined to become works of art. This class is perfect for pairs, but if you don't bring a friend, you can work with one of the other students. The process we will be using involves covering the head and neck with a thick compound for roughly 30 minutes, so if you are claustrophobic, this may not be a good class for you.
