Event Overview

2014 and um, resolutions, changes + goals + all that other sh*t you got SUPER excited about on December 31st is HERE. Panic? Excitement? Clean Slate? New You? On the wagon? Already fell off?

Regardless of what you're feeling or how you kicked off the year, I can tell you one thing: This year is going to be different. WAAAAAAY different..STARTING TODAY. And by different, I mean REALLY FRIGGEN' GREAT.

Because this year when you're setting 2015 goals or planning your year or dreaming and conspiring and ruminating about what you want or never EVER want to experience again, I want you to do it differently than last year or any year prior.

Your goals to 'lose 10 lbs., travel to Hawaii + land a maaaaaan [or chick]' are, sure, 'goals', but give you no clear direction on the kind of life you want to experience or what you want to create or who you want to be or better yet HOW YOU WANT TO FEEL in the New Year [+ beyond].

So I'm hosting a Goal-Setting / Vision Boarding BASH! And I'd love to see you there.

What we're going to do:
Get clear. On how we want to FEEL in the New Year. And from there, create goals + plans + experiences to get us there.
Get messy. With art supplies and stickers and paint, OH MY.
Get friendly. Yes, new friends are FUN. So maybe you'll make a few or 10.

Allie is amazing! This was my second experience with her events, and it was awesome. Highly recommend for women looking for a positive, thoughtful, supportive, and resource-rich teacher!

I left the class with a vision board that I like but I would have liked more instruction on the purpose of the board and how it fit into goal setting.

    From Teacher:

Hi Shakila! Great meeting you at the Vision Board Bash and happy you walked away with a Vision Board you liked and could kick off your incredible new year!

I do appreciate your feedback. I'll make sure to be more clearly that the 'Bash' is a more of a party with a bit of guided instruction rather than a full-on workshop like my other classes. OR perhaps I'll shift things a bit and add more guided instruction to the VBB and make it more of a totally facilitated experience.

Again, great meeting you and hope 2015 is treating you beautifully so far.

Even though I had done something like this before I was hoping for more instruction/information from the teacher. It just seemed like one big party.

    From Teacher:

Hi Marcy! Great to hear from you.

It was excellent meeting you last night. Your Vision Board turned out beautifully -- you've got a big year ahead of you, sister.

Thanks for your candor about last night's experience. The intention was for it to be a celebratory group gathering (with guidance around goal-setting from a 'feeling perspective' and group sharing/ideating in the beginning like we did) instead of a 'workshop' format all the way through, which is why I called it a 'Bash'.

However, I respect that your expectations differed from what you experienced, so thanks for sharing! All feedback is essential in order to enhance an experience going forward.

As an FYI, I have a couple workshop-style classes that are much more guided -- Fearlessly Naked & Beauty Experiment, which might be more of the experience you're looking for.

    Until then, have a fantastic 2015 :)
