About the Instructors:

Carla Starla

As a graduate of Invision, formerly known as the Midwest Psychic Institute, Carla Starla has been professionally trained in the areas of Healing, Meditation and Clairvoyant reading. She has worked with the Liberal Arts Dept. at Columbia College, helping students understand the concepts of Psychic Phenomenon and the healing powers of meditative energy. Ms. Starla is also an Insightful teacher working with children ranging from ages 5 to 17 in Chicago Public Schools to help them learn Imagination Meditation techniques. This program helps children gain an insight to the power of positive thinking as they become more aware of the energies around them. As a Light Worker, she is involved with many different groups around the city of Chicago that promote inner wellness and spiritual education. She is continually taking part in co-building and co-creating a growing eclectic spiritual community. Her workshops provide a vast compilation of services such as: Chakra Energy Basics, Living in God and Goddess awareness, Personalized meditation techniques, Spirit Guide readings, Grounding techniques, How to use the healing power of Gold Energy and Intuitive Movement classes. Her goal is to help awaken the true essence of the spirit - helping each individual find a sense of meaning and purpose in their daily lives. Carla Starla's intention is to share what she has learned over the last fifteen years with love truth and compassion. True healing and success come first through the ever evolving process of self-empowerment. She can help you find ways to make the best choices, especially when it comes to your unique and personal situations. Barret Hedeen

Barret Hedeen is the creator of The Witness Energy Healing, a technique to witness the perfection and wholeness that is inside you. As you are witnessed more truly, the shadows and imperfections that you have believed are brought forward and fully released. What is left is your inner light, joy and peace. It has always been there, waiting to be discovered.

In addition, Barret has written two books sharing his connection to his inner guide, Jesus, whom he endearingly calls J. In Questions for J - And the Love that He Gave Me, Barret turned his questions of pain and sorrow over to J, and felt words of compassion and grace being returned. The result is a go-to guide for how to return to our peace when the world and its issues are getting us down. His newest book is a collection poems from this same inspired and joyful self, entitled Poems for J. Both are available at Amazon.com.

Barret is a Certified Six Sensory with Sonia Choquette. He has studied a number of different forms of healing, including Quantum Touch, shiatsu, Qi Gong, Bowenwork, meditation and more. He is currently being trained to be a Soul Realignment practitioner and read the Akashic records. Barret has received a Bachelor of Science degree from Northwestern University in Computer Science, and is a graduate of the Chicago School of Massage Therapy.
