Let's Have a Party - a tissue paper party! Tissue paper is one amazing, cost effective way to decorate! You can cut it, twist it, glue it, and even turn it into confetti! You can create just about anything with this colorful stuff.
In this class we will be creating a geometric pinata, fringe garland, and adorable tissue paper tassels.
You will be ready for a party at any time and for super cheap! These items can be customized for a birthday party, valentine's day party or even (gasp!) your wedding! You will also walk away with sourcing info and tips for other tissue paper crafts you can make, using the skills you learned in class.
Everything you create in class is yours to keep!

Material Fee: $15 not included in class fee.

What's Provided
You will be provided with everything you need to make all crafts. If you have a certain color tissue paper you would like to work with, feel free to bring it with you!

Katie Jayne Sprenkle is the creative spirit behind Jayne Weddings & Events, an event design and coordination company started in 2009. She specializes in indie-themed event design & coordination for off-beat couples. Her heart is in the shocking, out there & over the top. Katie Jayne & her team build, paint, hammer, cut, sew, fold & make many items by hand. Often installing intricate backdrops, ceiling installations & other works of wedding wonder.
Katie Jayne is constantly on the hunt for new and exciting crafts and 3-D art forms. She also dabbles in graphic design. Teaching a series of classes at Chicago Portfolio School.
