This was a great class. Shannon has a wealth of firsthand knowledge to share and encourages everyone in class to share their experiences as well. Definitely a fun class to take for novice and seasoned travelers.

There were a lot of great tips, we all discussed our fears so that helped me feel like I wasn't a crazy person for being a little afraid sometimes. I sometimes get a bit frustrated when people who are REALLY novices ask questions like "how did you save money for your trip?" because I feel like that's a topic for another class. Otherwise, everyone's questions and story telling helped me get ready for my next trip. i also really appreciate the reading list and a list of any helpful websites.

This class really inspired me to start traveling. I learned how to travel solo safely, which is a huge concern, because I am done waiting around for everyone else to have the time to travel. I have the travel itch and now I know how to move forward.
