Event Overview
It's one thing to be able to shoot good video and photos, its a whole another job to be able to edit it and export it into it's final version. With video editing you can quickly chop, color-correct, add text, animate, and polish your videos into professional products for fun or your business.
This is a beginners course for Apple's Final Cut Pro 7 software and will give a broad overview of the functionality and layout of FCP7. (Note: This course is not for FCPX or imovie) This class will be projected at the front of the class-room so that all can follow along. Computers will not be provided, so please bring your own laptop, power cable and software!
In this course we will cover:
- Layout, Menus, and Windows
- Importing Videos
- Using and converting to Apple Intermediate Codec
- Basic Editing theory and using the FCP timeline.
- Adding Text
- Utilizing the color-corrector and adding video effects
- Introduction to animating effects.
- Exporting your video for Youtube and other media outlets.
