Ever wanted to make your own T-shirts, posters or greeting cards? This is an introductory course in screen printing for artists, hobbyists and those interested in the basics of print making.
There's a ton of different ways to make prints from top-notch professional, to down and dirty DIY, and we aim to give you enough information to create prints in either way you choose. The class covers the process from artwork prep to creating a T-shirt of your own to take home.
Course Basics:
- Materials and Tools: Screens, Inks, Paddles, Press
- Preparing Artwork
- Cleaning and Creating a Screen Image
- Printing by hand.
Class taught by Christopher Breedlove & Shorty Belle.
Any extra fabric you would like to print.

Christopher Breedlove is a freelance production artist and producer in Chicago. Working under the guise of Mr.Breedlove Media he creates video & animations, interactive productions, social media and communication materials. Christopher is an avid screen printer, and engraver, and works with Re-Mixed Ink creating live screen printing booths at events and festivals.
Christopher is president of the Chicago based 501(c)3 Bold Urban Renaissance Network (B.U.R.N.), and works closely with Burners Without Borders (BWB) and the Burning Man Project.
