Event Overview
We all know that yoga is a great way to support our wellness. But watching thin, bendy and super athletic yogis jump into handstands can be intimidating. Where do you begin?
This class is for new or newer yoga practictioners as they get familiar with the practice in a safe space: your own home.
I believe that yoga should fit your body, not the other way around, and will offer customizations to avoid discomfort. I avoid typical fitness or weight loss terms, and use inclusive language around age, race, sexual orientation, gender and body type.
You will learn the basics of a Vinyasa (flow) style yoga class, as well as how yoga can support your emotional well-being.
This class is appropriate for people who can get up and down from the floor easily. You should have your doctor's approval before beginning any new activity.
