Who would have thought at my age...Axe Throwing! At first I was a little concerned as the address was incorrect in the email verification I received. After a quick phone call we found out that the new location was very close by and that we were still able to make it to our appointment. Once the waiver was signed our coach (Ryan) took his time with us to go over the ins and outs, and how to improve our technique. I appreciate that he did not spend the full hour with us, and left us to continue to make progress at our own pace.

My first dabble - Bad Axe Throwing - was awesome! I’m 63, went with my 65 year old husband and 27 year old daughter. We had a blast ! Will definitely go back to BAT and will also dabble in other areas.

As it turns out, throwing axes at a target is pretty hard! (Go figure.) Our instructor was super nice and offered a lot of individual feedback and advice and encouragement, which really helped. We practiced for a while, then played games as a group, and then went back to practicing, and by the end everyone was getting it! While I probably won't be joining an axe throwing league, I had a lot of fun and it felt good to figure out the skill. Popping balloons with an axe is really satisfying!

This was so much fun! The instructor was extremely helpful at giving us suggestions on how to improve our technique, and she was a lot of fun! We got to free throw and play some games. Probably the most unique and fun thing we’ve done in a while. I told everyone that would listen at work the next day how cool I felt. We will definitely go again.
