Event Overview
Take your creativity to the next level, as you learn both watercolor painting and woodworking to create a framed piece of artwork. The first part of this workshop will allow you to explore basic materials and techniques for watercolor painting, where painter Kelley Schei will demonstrate the basics of watercolor materials, techniques and mixing colors. After some time to experiment and personalized instruction, you’ll create a finished painting. In the second part of the workshop, Heather Mullins from Relevant Reuse will teach you the basics of woodworking as you construct a custom frame to make your piece of art a finished product.
