Event Overview
Have you ever seen a wine and cheese board you just love? Now you can make your own and take it home with you! This class will walk you through very basic woodworking techniques and tools to create and finish your own serving board. No prior woodworking or building experience required, just enthusiasm and interest in learning and meeting new people! Materials will be provided.
What to Bring
Enthusiasm for learning and building! BYOB wine (or beer)

MORE ABOUT YOUR HOST
An artist, educator, and advocate of hands-on learning and sustainability, Heather Mullins works primarily with the concept of re-use by building functional products, furniture, and sculptural and design installations. Heather has years of hands-on teaching experience including managing and teaching in the wood and metal shop at the School of the Art institute of Chicago, adjunct teaching at Columbia College Chicago, teaching developmentally disabled adults, and teaching workshops and classes in a number of community centers and spaces in Denver and Chicago. Heather currently lives in Denver, CO.
