Event Overview
Beginner-friendly class to learn how to crochet your very own Fall/ Winter beanie (multiple sizes) with a faux fur pom pom!
Whether you are learning to crochet a beanie for yourself or for someone else, this class will empower you to create beautiful handmade items to gift during holiday season, or just to save money on purchasing beanies from corportate businesses. I promise you, you will never look at a beanie again in any store without thinking, " i know how to make that" or "if i make it myself, it will be cheaper!" Gasp! Did i mention this is a great class to take if you have been thinking about trying something new?
We will work very closely with the written pattern, learning how to read it, how to understand it, how to do the crochet stitches, and most importantly gain confidence in making your own beanie with or without me!
You do not need to know how to crochet to attend this workshop, so do not hesitate to come and learn how to crochet in a fun environment! Please keep in mind that everyone learns at different paces, so you may not leave class with a finished beanie, however, you will have the skills to continue the beanie at home.

Hey! I am the maker and designer behind Montaño: Hand- Crafted Crochet.
After dropping off my children at School and after two cups of coffee, I spend every moment I can crocheting, teaching classes, connecting with other makers that I can, and visiting all the local yarn stores I can go to!
I have been crocheting for 9 years now, and it all began in a small military base in Italy. Through this craft, art, and therapeutic process, I have learned how to better cope with my PTSD (from my military service during my deployment).
I share this life with my husband of 9 years, our two children and our fur child Summer (2-year-old dog).
Montaño: Hand - Crafted Crochet was born in 2016 out of my desire to share my craft and build a community with like-minded makers. Some of the deepest conversations I have had, revolve around yarn and friends.
