Event Overview
Send your little artists to us while you have some time on your own! Under the careful supervision of our artists and art therapists, your child will explore their creativity, mindfulness and develop new Jedi Art skills. Materials will be supplied as well as several teachers as resources to create the Starwars masterpiece of their dreams. Projects will include themed mandalas, creating lightsabers, droids, and other three-dimensional art works.
WORKSHOP DETAILS: Ages 5+ may be dropped off (you know your kids) Lessons will be altered per age group. Possible Materials: Watercolor resist, Acrylic Paint, Clay, Fiber Arts and Embellishments.
Materials included: $20.00 per child (for the 1st child) $6.00 off per each additional sibling.

**If your child has food allergies or dietary restrictions, please include this on the participant waiver and send appropriate snacks with them. We are a peanut-free facility, but other restrictions are not observed.

MORE ABOUT YOUR HOST
Amy Leiter is a Denver-based, artist and art therapist and the Founder of Violet Hive Art Therapy and Healing. She creates multimedia pieces and paintings, exploring the emotional and mystical landscape using bright, rich colors and takes inspiration from the world around her. She received an MA in Transpersonal Counseling and Art Therapy from Naropa University, Boulder in addition to her BFA from Ohio University, Athens. She has taught adults and adolescents at Violet Hive Art Therapy and Art Garage. As a teacher, Amy believes that art and art therapy are for everyone no matter their artistic level. She believes that the creative process may encourage personal growth through accessing the self-conscious in a way that allows for healing and rediscovering the authentic self.
