Event Overview
With fall solidly upon us, there are few things we crave more than carving pumpkins, marshmallow s'mores & spending time around the dinner table with friends and family.
Become the hostess with the most-est when it's your turn for family dinner and game night with this easy to whip up and completely from scratch meal! We'll first be planting and cultivating our own winter veggies, then using those to make a mouth-watering pasta dish to feed your family and friends!
Students will take their pick of some hearty winter vegetables: kale, Swiss chard, or broccoli and, for the first half of class, pot their own seeds. After we're finished planting, we'll learn how to make fresh from the farm potato gnocchi ... featuring a winter sauce made with the plant you chose to pot!
Class will conclude with a wine toast to new friends, and a delicious meal prepared from the fruit of your labor. Leave with a full belly, a warm heart and a potted plant you can use to grow your own meals through the coming months!
