Event Overview

This workshop will shed light on the various techniques of illustrating in pen. The focus of this class is on botanical drawings. Artists will get to create a botanical work of art with the supplies in their goodie bag provided. Yummy snacks and good tunes will be in store for you in this workshop. There will be several examples of different styles to work in when illustrating floral designs. You get to discover yours in this workshop!  

You know those cool IKEA floral drawings? We are about to put those to shame following the simple steps to build up a beautiful drawing of your own! You will never buy another floral art piece again. 

Now, lets get to drawing!

STEPS OF WORKSHOP:

Step 1: Get familiar with drawing techniques, practice them on a scrap piece of paper

Step 2: Identify what look you want for your drawing including techniques of shading and shape of your chosen flowers

Step 3: After practicing different types of shading in pen and drawing different shapes of flowers, you will begin your final piece!
