Do you wish your mind would stop racing?
Do you want to relax and enjoy life more, but never seem to remember to actually do it?
Mindfulness meditation is about becoming more available to ourselves and others. It's been handed down from one live human being to another for more than 2,500 years. And there's a ton of scientifically proven benefits including memory improvement, stress reduction, even lowering chronic pain.
Come learn this simple yet challenging practice in a warm, welcoming environment. I have practiced for more than 20 years and taught for 12. And as a bodyworker, I put special emphasis on working with the body to ensure greater body awareness and ease.
At the end of one class, you will have gained a life skill that you can apply on your own anytime, anywhere.

Juliet has been practicing mindfulness meditation since age 12, and teaching it for more than 10 years. As a second generation American Buddhist, she brings a solid knowledge of the roots of this practice as well as a desire to help people use it to benefit their lives in a simple, accessible way. She has trained with Will Johnson, author of The Posture of Meditation, and held workshops on finding ease in the body while using the traditional half lotus posture.

I'm not a big yoga, meditate, etc kind of person, but this seemed more like something that could help me be more focused with my mind and body. Juliet was super welcoming, the space was warm and inviting, and the session was very approachable. I didn't feel like I was out of place, and the way the exercises were presented gave me idea on how I can use mindful meditation at different points going forward. As an intro class, it's perfect! I'll definitely be dropping by in the future for more "practice", I left Juliet's all mellow and in a better place than I arrived! Definitely check it out!
