Event Overview

Are you ready to dance the Argentine Tango? Convergence Dance and Body Center (sorry for the long name) has been teaching tango, ballroom, salsa, and swing dance lessons in the St. Louis area for over three decades. In addition to holding a monthly Milonga (Tango Dance), we would love to teach you and your partner how to dance.

After you come to our basic tango class, you will be comfortable with basic steps while maintaining the embrace/connection. We will even try some ochos and maybe an iconic lunge! Included in the fee is entrance to ourmonthly tango event and you can immediately practice what you learned with some food, and espresso! Call with any extra questions

Roxanne Maier

Roxanne Maier, Robert McKenney, and Carter Maier have been teaching in the St. Louis area for over 15 years. They have been to Argentina a combined 24 times in the last 12 years to study from the best teachers in Argentina. Roxanne Maier started the community here in St. Louis and passed on her love of Tango to her husband, Carter, and son, Robert. Robert even taught at the National Academy of Tango in Buenos Aires for over a month during his visit in 2013 while simultaneously studying with other master teachers. Come dabble with a little tango!
