Event Overview
Are you ready to salsa dance? Convergence Dance and Body Center (sorry for the long name) has been teaching salsa dance lessons in the St. Louis area for over a decade. In addition to holding a monthly social (dance event), we would love to teach you and your partner how to dance. Purchase of ONE ticket is good for TWO people!
After you come to our basic salsa class, you will be able to comfortable to basic steps both Front and back and side to side. We will also discuss how to lead spins (for the leader and the follower) and if we can, we will lead combs.
You'll leave the class feeling comfortable doing basic steps, spins, and ready to hit the dance floor!
What to Bring
Any type of shoes will work!

Robert McKenney started dancing when he was only 14 years old. Through the last decade he has taught at universities throughout the Midwest (UMKC, Mizzou, U of I), performed throughout St. Louis at festivals and private shows, and taught weekly group lessons making it easy for people to go out and social dance. Come check out his classes at Convergence Dance and Body Center and experience the joy of movement to music!
