Event Overview
For centuries, kombucha has been known as the Tea of Immortality. Our ancestors knew of it’s health promoting and curative properties and since their time, science has proven kombucha’s effectiveness for a range of modern health concerns including the lowering of cholesterol and cancer prevention through supporting the immune system. Join this one of a kind Master Brew Workshop with Chef William Pauley and MS Nutritionist Amy Hubbard to learn about all of the health promoting benefits of kombucha and how to make and flavor kombucha that will leave your taste buds undeniably happy and craving more. This kombucha is unlike any you’ve ever tried before… think Pineapple Turmeric, Chaga Sarsaparilla and Citra Hops!
In this Master Brew Workshop we will discuss the ancient art of Kombucha brewing, from it's origins to the science of the SCOBY. A hands-on demonstration will take participants through the entire bottling process. Everyone will leave with their own bottles produced during the workshop. Please bring your own homemade 'booch' to taste. Blessings!
FAQ's
Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
Due to the nature of the fee structure associated with ticket sales and refunds online and having to purchase the correct amount of beverage supplies and containers for the class ahead of time, the Academy of Culinary Healing has a no refund policy for all tickets purchased. It is recommended that you find someone else to take your place at the class if you are unable to attend. If you are not able to make the class, the amount you have paid, minus any processing fee incurred at the time of payment may be put toward a personalized nutrition consultation with Amy, for up to one year following the date of purchase. It will be up to you to provide a receipt of your class purchase to receive a credit in the amount of the class.
