Blogging Bootcamp

Business & Technology
Also known as "Not Your Mama's Writing Class: How to Break Into Blogging and Write for an Information-Hungry, Attention-Weary Audience," Blogging Bootcamp is a 3.5 hour power-workshop that dives head-first into the content of successful blog posts and helps students build an understanding of how to write for online media, especially in relation to traditional print cousin.
This class is targeted towards beginner-level bloggers who want to enhance their digital writing skills and create great content for their readers. Students MUST have published at least one article to be qualified for the class, as we will have a hands-on workshop portion where we will edit and provide feedback on each other's articles in small groups.
For those who don't meet this criteria, I would recommend my "Kickstart Your Blog" workshop first.
Students will leave this bootcamp with a strong understanding of what makes a great article and how to develop quality content in the long-term for today's multitasking, digital reader.
Students can expect to:
-Learn about the qualities of blogging that make it different from writing for print
-Work in small groups to help each other enhance an already-published article
-Brainstorm new content and create a list of great headlines for future blog posts
-Acquire basic "content marketing" skills to make your articles irresistible to readers
Join us for a collaborative, hands-on, energetic blogging workshop!
