Truffles are for lovers….
…of chocolate that is! Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Dabblers will make, roll and decorate truffles and leave with a selection of their very own hand crafted chocolates. Earn bragging rights and brownie points this Valentine’s Day, or treat yourself… you've earned it.
We will create a variety of topping options, including chocolate ganache, coconut, nuts, chocolate shavings, candied ginger, peppermint bark and many others. Roll your sleeves up and roll your truffles out, we are going to get messy and eat as much chocolate as we can. Bring a date, or come by yourself, everyone loves chocolate!
This event is BYOB.

TOP RATED
Jenny Urban’s passion for teaching culinary arts has helped hundreds achieve success in the hospitality industry. Focusing on social service settings, she has worked with refugees, the homeless and underemployed, senior citizens, and the LGBTQ community.
In 2008, she opened the Urban Café, tapping into her love of Tex Mex and strong coffee. Urban Café was awarded “Best Neighborhood Spot in Lakeview” in 2008 by The Chicago Free Press.
Urban has been profiled in The Wall Street Journal, The Chicago Tribune, Windy City Times, Time Out Chicago, and A Recipe for Hope, by Karen Skalitzky, as well as on PBS NewsHour. She was named one of “30 under 30” by Windy City Times and “30 women to watch under 30” by The Chicago Sun-Times.

Liza H.Reviewed on 02/10/13I went with my boyfriend, and we had a blast, Jenny provided us with recipes and gave us very detailed instructions on how to make the truffles. We had a ton of freedom on how to decorate each truffle, she had everything from nuts to cocoa powder to coconuts and not to mention melted chocolate and chocolate ganache. She gave us samples of each chocolate and truffle mixes and she even had drinks for us! Absolutely amazing. If she does this class again I highly suggest it to anyone who loves chocolate and wants to have an awesome time.
