Learn to harness the vibrant flavors of summer with two signature seasonal cocktails featuring KOVAL Distillery spirits. Local cocktail blogger Valerie of Valcohol.co will walk you through each natural recipe step-by-step and teach you the tricks of the trade. 


With farmer's markets and grocery stores overflowing with ripe produce, you can effectively (and cheaply) add complexity to your home bar with freshly derived ingredients. Homemade syrups are a great way to make fruit flavors pop in your cocktails and to preserve ripe fruit for prolonged use. We'll use KOVAL spirits and liqueurs and two different fruit and herb syrups to blend the following flavors:



  • Rye Whiskey / Rose Hip / Strawberry / Lemon

  • Barreled Gin / Peach / Basil / Lime


Valerie will walk you through everything you need to know to craft, garnish, and present both cocktails. You’ll learn hands-on how to achieve proper mixing technique, glassware selection, and optimal flavor ratios while enjoying a full-size serving of each cocktail. Take-home recipes will be provided for future reference, along with snacks and one of each cocktail glass used in the class (a coupe and a rocks glass).
