Event Overview

What makes a website great? Content.

Without useful and valuable content, traffic to a website suffers. That’s why having a solid content strategy to develop the right information to the right audience at the right time will help any website be successful. In order to make that happen, a content strategist needs to understand how to determine content needs, and how to work with the user experience architects, visual designers and tech guys/gals.

This six-week session will provide you with foundational content strategy skills necessary to assess, plan and create content for an exceptional digital experience.

You will also learn how the content strategist role fits within a digital team of user experience architects, visual designers and technical developers.

In this six-week session you will:

-Gain knowledge of a typical digital design project and how content strategy fits in that process
-Learn the specific roles of a content strategist and the activities needed to complete a project
-Get hands-on experience creating a content strategy for an actual client
