Event Overview
Do you love pets and want to learn to draw?
For Teenagers and Adults
Discover how to draw cats and dogs with "It'll Glow On You's" hands-on sketching class! This class will teach you the basics of creating pet portraits, including: drawing from reference photos (bring your own for the most lifelike artworks), gridding a photo, sketching out proportions, and working on shading and values for more realistic drawings! Learn to illustrate beautiful portraits of your favorite pets, and even have your drawings printed onto a coffee mug!
We'll start by drawing dogs and cats, but then we can also sketch birds, rabbits, fish, ferrets, and many more. Most of the drawing will be in black and white. We may branch into color with markers and colored pencils, start cartooning, draw speech bubbles, and even sketch zoo animals.
Students can bring their own notebooks and drawing instruments, or you can purchase them from the instructor. If you would like to have your drawing printed onto a coffee mug, let us know if you need materials and would like a mug.
