13 Have Dabbled
Business & Technology
These days, having a Facebook page for your small business is as essential to success as having a phone number and email address.
This Dabble class, for small business owners looking to get tech savvy, is an introduction to the Facebook Insights tool. We'll discuss how these analytics reveal helpful demographics about your Facebook fans, and give you a glimpse into what content they are consuming on your page. Get practical advice on the terminology of Facebook insights, and how to use the tools available to you to create engaging content or run a successful ad campaign.
Walk away educated, empowered and with great "insights" into how your Facebook brand page fits into a larger part of your small business' Social Media marketing strategy.

Keidra was a nice person in a bad situation due to the frequent changes to Business Pages at Facebook. The class started with the caveat that, "Facebook is in the middle of upgrading Insight's interface." I would have preferred to have the class postponed so that the information would be accurate to what was available to use. Not her fault.
Secondarily, I think the Insights class is underwhelming because the new interface looks very straightforward and the tips offered were thin on the ground. Again, this is more a Facebook policy problem; they do not like to explain or elaborate how they configure data. The group class seemed more concerned with how to do basic marketing rather than how to analyze data. Again, not Keidra's fault. If the class is re-written to encompass more points (basic SM marketing that can result in track-able data that is displayed on Insight) it may be more useful.
