Get more green in your life and lift your spirits by making a living terrarium.
In this class, we use glass jars and canisters to create miniature green houses that are easy to take care of. You will spend the class creating your own terrarium to take home with you! Those without a green thumb need not worry, terrariums are easy to maintain. Personalize yours with whimsical miniature animals, stones and moss.
Terrariums are great for gifts or to add green to your home during these dark winter days.

Erika is a teacher by trade, and an environmentalist and artist at heart. Living in Chicago has motivated her to find ways to incorporate trees and plants into her life wherever she can. She's a local gardener and amateur naturalist. She's informally taught terrarium making classes to women through a local meet-up group. The women are never disappointed and her classes are always full!

Erika is an amazing teacher and did a wonderful job teaching us how to make a terrarium! She had awesome supplies (jars were beautiful) and plants which made the experience very seamless and relaxing. Super fun and worth it!

This was a really fun class! There was a neat variety of plants and containers to choose from and I love my new terrarium. Even my boyfriend admitted the finished product was cool.

Erika provided a wonderful workshop! She was well prepared by having handouts with visuals and had all materials easily accessible. The environment was warm and questions were well received and answered. everyone left for home with their own terrarium and I know I love mine!

I've been wanting to learn to do this for quite a while. The class was fun and informative and I left with a solid understanding of the basics. Erika also provided great ideas for future projects as well as all the supplies needed to take home a beautiful project. I can't wait to make some more! Everyone is getting terrariums from me from now on!
