Event Overview
It's time to paint this town, Chicago! Unicoi Art Studio brings painting supplies to Riverview Tavern! Enjoy a two hour painting class, drink and food specials at your favorite local watering holes. We hope you can meet us out for a night of fun on one or more of our tour dates!
We bring canvases, easels, paints, smocks, brushes, texturizing tools and a random assortment of images. You can also bring your own printed picture if you would like to paint something specific!
Prices: includes all art materials (food and drinks separate)
$25 for 1 person
$40 for 2 people (or dates)
Itinerary:
7:00-7:30 Order drinks, food and mingle at the Beat Kitchen
7:30-9:30 Sketching and painting at Unicoi

MORE ABOUT YOUR HOST
Kathleen is a graduate from American Academy of Art in Chicago with a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts Degree in Illustration. She specializes in children’s illustrations and has created work for children’s theatre in Chicago. Her favorite mediums include pen and watercolor as well as digital painting. Her love of art comes from the process of learning through visual material. Teaching at Unicoi has strengthened that ongoing passion.
Dionne Victoria Milton studied at the University of Illinois at Chicago. In 2012, she travelled abroad to teach English to Korean children. She also learned how to use arts to teach English as second language. In 2012 she worked as a youth development worker at the YMCA and began volunteering at the Cook County Juvenile Detention Center facilitating therapeutic art. She teaches art classes and facilitates therapeutic art through the Urban Retreat Center of Chicago, in grammar schools and the Sacred Heart Home, a rehabilitation center. She currently works as a studio manager for The Johnson Artistry and a teaching artist for Unicoi Studio and the South Chicago Art Center.
