Event Overview

WEDNESDAY NIGHT - Navy Pier Fireworks by 9:30PM - we'll be capturing them as well!

Photography empowers us in capturing the wondrous events and places we experience - be it a stunning urban landscape, an intimate portrait, or nature's beauty. A thorough understanding of your camera's functions is crucial to skillfully and effortlessly capturing the scene - as you see it.

Join us for this very small class geared toward DSLR owners (tripod highly recommended) with a maximum of four photographers. Both intermediate and confident beginners are welcome for this class, which will last two hours in low-light conditions.

Learn repeatable techniques which will improve your photography forever. Walk, shoot, repeat, all the while learning tips & tricks for nighttime photography.

The best part of the class is YOUR participation: You're here to Dabble in photography, so you'll have ample opportunities to apply what we learn as we go - so bring full batteries, empty memory cards, and all your creative vibes - I'll be checking your work as you go and exploring how we can improve it!

Try out professional equipment before buying your own - tripod, monopod, flash, LED lights, etc., and create your very own light-paintings using them!
