Event Overview
The whimsy and magical charm of garden gnomes have long captured our attention and imagination (remember David the Gnome... Amelie… and even the Travelocity Travelling Gnome?!). Join ArtReach to make a gnome of your own to send off on spirited adventures in your garden or house!
In this workshop students will learn how to build a garden gnome made of clay, using handbuilding techniques such as pinch pots and slab building; and later using special clay glazes to add vibrant color. Students will be able to pick up their gnome after it has been fired in our kilns (you will be contacted when your gnome is ready).
We welcome adults and children ages 8 and above to participate! The first floor, on which ArtReach’s classes take place, and restrooms are wheelchair accessible.
