Screenprint Your Own Stickers!

Arts & DIY
Put your stamp (via sticker) on life. Join the artists and printmakers of Twin Peaks Press for a screenprinting lesson and demonstration on how to screenprint your own stickers!
The art of screenprinting has been around for centuries and has served as a critical way of spreading both grassroots and industrial ideas. Bring your own (one color) drawing or design and learn how to translate that into a screen-printable image. Those who do not wish to bring their own images can choose from one of Twin Peaks Press's designs.
Participates will leave with 15 of their own stickers at the end of the class, as well as a basic understanding on how to make their own screenprints!
Students should bring a one color (black and white) design of some kind. Students who do not wish to bring a design can choose from a design by Twin Peaks Press!
All ages welcome
Twin Peaks Press provides ink and sticker paper! If students would like to print on an alternative material they can bring that in and feel free to contact instructors with material questions.

Ashlee and Sara have been screenprinting separately for years and recently have joined forces. Both alumni of The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and both specializing in very different areas of the medium.
Ashlee has had experience teaching many different classes at various spaces in Chicago such as Spudnik Press and Bottle and Bottega.
Sara has had the pleasure of working with many different musicians such as Rabble Rabble, Vamos, Death, Bring Your Ray Gun, Natural Child, and Flesh Panthers.
This class was amazing. I got really cool stickers, learned a lot about the screen printing process and technique, got advice and resources and feel inspired.
