Event Overview

There’s no divination image more recognizable than that of a fortune teller with a crystal ball! This class will feature an introduction to scrying and crystal gazing, including history and a discussion of various methods. Everyone will also receive an original zine with useful information about the topic. Attendees will get hands-on practice and have a chance to purchase their own crystal ball. No previous experience is required, just an open mind. Cost: $35

About the facilitators:

Kristen Kaniewski is an artist, a shaman’s daughter, a certified tarot reader, and co-founder of “Divination Club - Chicago” a group dedicated to building the local divination community.

Ethan Schleeter is an artist and divination fanatic who can read your fortune and mystify you with a magic trick using the same deck. He also co-founded “Divination Club - Chicago.”
