Did you take a Tarot Card Reading for Beginners workshop and now you're craving to learn more? Do you want to continue unlocking the secrets of the Tarot and have the chance to practice even more spreads and readings? Here's your opportunity! Sideshow Gallery presents: Tarot Reading for Advanced Beginners!

Taught by Jen Swallow

The workshop will start off with a recap of the basic meanings of the major and minor aracana cards. We will teach you a few basic card spreads and then give readings to each other.

This work shop will also provide you with a safe space to ask any questions that you have about tarot reading. Some prior knowledge is not required but suggested. Come alone or with a friend!

Wine and snacks will be provided.

About Jen Swallow

While working on a small cruise ship based out of Rhode Island, Jen Swallow finally became fed up with being perpetually seasick and decided to set anchor in Chicago. A few years ago, she decided to that she wanted to learn more about tarot card reading so she took a workshop at Sideshow Gallery. The workshop excitingly opened the doors for her to read tarot professionally.

What to Bring

Please bring a tarot deck- if you do not have one they will be available for purchase- or you can use one of ours!

All ages welcome

We will have tarot cards on hand for purchase- or you can use a loaner!

This is a wonderful and welcoming class for anyone interested in tarot. Jen is a creative and warm teacher and makes everyone feel comfortable venturing into tarot. She makes it accessible. She wants you to rely on your intuition in approaching the cards to interpret a situation in creative ways, rather than rely on the notion that tarot is a definitive guide to your future. I've taken this class a few times and will keep taking it because Jen changes up the lesson each time. I'm so glad I found this class! And the location - Sideshow Gallery - is a fantastic shop run by a super friendly woman who is also a tarot reader. I always enjoy learning in this space and look forward to coming back.
