Amazing. Very good info. Enjoyed it very much. Lori was a good instructor. The course material was very well presented and helpful. The only down side was that time was limited and the class time could have easily be longer. Thx

This class was awesome! Very fun and interactive. I was surprised how much I learned in just an hour & a half. The instructor moves at a challenging pace but answers any questions people had. I liked that it was only about 9 people, so we accomplished a lot! From Teacher:

Deborah P.Intro to American Sign Language
The class was everything I expected and more. An interesting and engaging group of people. Very concise information in what may be viewed as a challenging location. The class did (for me) what was intended...to get me thinking more about ASL and to seek additional and tutelage. :-)

Lori's class was informative and fun. I went with a small group, and we had varying levels of sign language experience - it was great as a refresher for the more experienced and a great introduction for those of us who were not. Definitely a well spent afternoon!

This class was wonderful! A great beginners class for someone who wants to know the absolute basics about signing - I can now introduce myself and ask basic questions with some confidence! Everyone else in the class walked in just as clueless as I did, so we were all learning together (which is nice, you never want to be the person who is way behind the rest of the class!)

The class was so much fun and I'm pleasantly surprised at how much I learned in that hour and a half. I would definitely recommend taking the class
William G.Intro to American Sign Language
Lori was wonderful! Very engaging and knowledgeable. Even with the limited time, I didn't feel rushed. I got the chance to share my new knowledge with a Deaf friend the next day and she was very impressed. And I quote, "All that in one class? She's good!"
Thanks, Bill! I'm not sure of any children's ASL classes in the city, but I'll look around and let you know if I find anything.

I had a really good time learning some basic ASL and a little bit about the Deaf culture.Lori is very knowledgeable and did a great job teaching us some fundamentals of ASL like proper motions and hand placement. I will definitely sign up for a more advanced class should she ever create one! From Teacher:
Happy you had a good time! I'll let you know if I make another level for the class.

I really enjoyed this class. Lori was a great teacher and had a variety of fun activities for us to do that helped us to learn some of the simple words / questions in American Sign Language. Everyone in the class was very friendly and by the end of the class we were able to have short conversations with each other using the different signs she had taught us. Highly recommend! From Teacher:
Glad you enjoyed the class!

Traci S.Intro to American Sign Language
Lori was very welcoming and knowledgable of ASL. We received a brief lesson about its origins. What was really awesome was actually having a conversation in sign language. I had a great time!
Lori has been enamored with ASL since "Sign of the Day" time in preschool. As a former sign language interpreter, she loves to spread her joy of signing wherever she goes. Lori has taught ASL adult workshops and small group classes for the past four years, as well as small group children's classes, and is thrilled to bring the world of signing to you!
