An innovative hybrid of painting, socializing and a dose of education, “Coffee Art” allows guests to taste different varieties of Java—and even use the liquid as an art material on their own canvas.
“Acrylx” upgrades the standard wine-and-easel night with an element of surprise; whether it’s mixed media or a live performance, there’s always something new at this edgy class.
As a budding academic, I’m aware that I need to have some sort of online presence outside of Facebook; after all, universities don’t much care if you’re super active on Facebook. It’s been too long since I did any HTML, and I’m a Wordpress Embarrassment. Therefore, I set my eyes on an easy, WYSIWYG solution. That’s where the Squarespace Power Hour came in. Aly took us through the basics of creating a website using a template, various options to do so, and brushed against some of the nitty gritty details of optimizing Squarespace in terms of eCommerce and SEO. I loved that the teacher focused her class on the particular interests of the students. There were a couple of bloggers in the class, as well as a few people into eCommerce, so we got to explore all of those areas, and she was able to give us pro-tips on all of those various areas.

I came in to this class already having a Squarespace blog and I wanted to learn a little more about all the platform is able to do. I learned a lot from the fellow classmates, the teacher, and from the course. It was a great class and I'm very happy I took it! I was able to implement new ideas to my blog that night!
