THIS EVENT WAS SO MUCH FUN! I attended with a group for Halloween weekend, and it was such a great way to spend the holiday. We were assigned characters prior to the class and had a great time committing to our characters, dressing up and trying to solve the mystery.

This was really fun! The character descriptions were neat and the woman running it made everyone comfortable.

This was a fun event! I enjoyed dressing up and playing a character. The teachers did a great job moving the night along and getting everyone to participate.

The location chosen was perfect for the event! I attended with a friend of mine and we both had an absolute blast! We would each attend again, even if the characters/scene was the same. My only suggestion would to assign characters to people sooner, but I can see how this could be difficult if people signed up closer to the event.

This was the first time I had ever participated in a murder mystery and it was so much fun. I cannot wait to do it again. The venue was great and everyone had a wonderful time.

**Updated to say that the events staff contacted me and agreed on the location letting me know among other things that they agreed with me about the location and, " I just wanted to let you know that this is the first and the last time we would work with that venue." Knowing that this would not be the location again, I'm upping my experience from neutral to positive. Enjoy your speakeasy murder mystery!**
I have mixed feelings. This was a Christmas gift for my husband, and he loved it, we had a lot of fun. People did a great job of dressing up and playing the game in character. It was fun that everyone was involved. The negative was the location. Although it was a cool bar, it was not a private space, and it was very loud with sports playing on the TVs. We had an area of the bar, kind of sectioned off, but it was extremely difficult to hear, especially for all group announcements like a reading of a will or an update from the police, etc. I would not do this again, unless I knew they had reserved a room in the bar, or had some kind of more official way to make announcements, like a microphone. It also would have been better in a more speak easy looking space. For example, I would recommend the 2nd floor of the Galway Arms, an affordable, private space that would feel more like a speak easy and allow for hearing everything going on in the murder mystery. I'm sure there are other suitable locations as well that feel more like a speak than an open section of a regular bar. If the location changed, I would definitely recommend/do this again.

This event was fantastic! The location was perfect and the characters were spot on. The most fun part was getting to interact with all of the other characters, watch the plot unfold throughout the night, and receive secret updates on your character throughout the night. Even the murderer didn't know who they were until halfway through the evening! I'm looking forward to doing this event again in the future.

I went with a group of four and we had a blast. Dressing up was fun and over exaggerating on our acting was even more. I was very nervous and didn't think I would remember everything for my role but once we started I was in character. Everyone was there to have fun. I highly recommend this and will add that you don't have to come with a group or with anyone because you will have no problem talking talking to people.
