Event Overview
Join us at The Spanish Square for a sherry paring dinner. Leo Cimino will be taking us through five delicious sherry wines from Bodegas Hidalgo, a charming bodega in Sanlúcar de Barrameda. They will be accompanied by five courses created by Chef Rafael.
What is flor? What is a solera system? Learn about five different types of sherry and how each is made. This is a wonderful event to meet people and explore the world of sherry. Wine friends of all levels are welcome! :)
We will be tasting:
Manzanilla La Gitana with croquetas de bacalao – cod croquets
Oloroso Faraon with pintxo de credo y setas – pork skewer with mushroom sauce
Amontillado Napoleon with guiso de cordero y garbanzos – lamb and garbanzo stew
Cream Alameda with dateles con chorizo y queso de cabra – dates stuffed with chorizo and goat cheese
Pedro Ximenez Triana with leche fritz con helado de vainilla – fried milk with vanilla ice-cream
Tickets are all-inclusive of food, wine, tax and gratuity.
