50-minute beginner class that introduces new clients to aerial exercises on hammocks; the class emphasizes basic alignment, foundation, and specific muscle action so that the body can learn how to balance on aerial hammocks. AIR® is an INTENSE aerial training program fusing elements of conditioning, Pilates, ballet, HIIT (high-intensity interval training), on aerial hammocks. Regardless of its beginner pace, AIR® Foundation will deliver a challenging workout. No experience required.
We have mats and hammocks waiting for you! Bring a water bottle and a small towel if you like.

This was a very intense class. Get there early so you can play on the hammocks before class starts and get comfortable with them since you won't get time during class. This class is perfect if you are already used to HITT or Cross Fit classes not so if you are more into mellow exercise or out of shape! HA

Be forewarned that my opinion is that this class is an intermediate level vs. beginner. The teacher was very nice and gung-ho, but it’s speed and difficulty level is more than a beginner might bargain for.
