MORE ABOUT YOUR HOST
In addition to teaching local food cooking and gardening for Dabble, Lilly teaches children and families for Slow Food Denver and Denver Urban Gardens.
Prior to that she was a personal chef in San Luis Obispo, CA in 2004-2006 and then again in the Denver metro area from 2006-2010. At which point, she switched gears to create the online subscription service Lilly's Table featuring her recipes and seasonal meal plans. After her first child was born, she moved to Tucson, AZ where she was the coordinator for the first two years of Tucson Food Day. While in Arizona, she taught cooking classes for daycare providers through the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona. Returning to Colorado, she helped start the Neighbor to Market vegetable consignment program at the Edgewater Market & Music. Her family's small urban farm, including chickens, a hive and gardens, inspired their experiment to eat local for a year.
