Had a nice time during the class and even learned something new about the history of where Beignet came from and the differences between baking powder and baking soda and when to use which one. The Beignet's tasted so good. I really would have liked to mix my own rather than using a mix, but they were doused in powdered sugar and delicious.

Beignets are tricky! It's way better to try for the first time in a class where you can ask questions and get quick feedback. Had a ton of fun and got to try putting creative twists on them!
