Event Overview
If your Pinterest boards are full of pretty words, this is the workshop for you. First, you'll learn about the supplies needed to create Modern Pointed Pen Script calligraphy, and you'll put together your own pen and nib. Then you'll dip that nib in ink and master a few basic strokes. You'll be surprised how easy it is to use those strokes to create an alphabet of beautiful, modern letters!
*Note: Left-handers can definitely try calligraphy, but it can be somewhat more challenging. Please let us know if you are left-handed and we'll be sure to accommodate.

What You Can Expect From This Experience
- 1 Pointed nib + nib holder (pen) to take home
- 1 Bottle of black ink to take home
- Practice sheets to learn basic strokes, letters, and words

Hey, I'm Sam, owner of Samantha Meyer Studio! My favorite things include guacamole, traveling, and taking naps with my dachshund mix, Iggy. I taught myself calligraphy a few years ago. I designed my first invitation suite for my own wedding, and then I was hooked! I love designing custom stationery for weddings all over the world.

Hi! I’m Delaina, owner of Delaina J Designs. I’m a small town gal living in Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood. I enjoy a good cup of cold brew (I personally think my husband’s is the best), a relaxing windows-down drive, & a workout at my local Pure Barre studio.
