Event Overview
Come join local female artist and designer Mo Komperda as she shares her tips and tricks on how to make beautiful and quirky collages out of vintage magazines and prints! Bring a friend or come and make new friends - we'll bring the wine, you just bring a magazine to cut some pictures out of and your gorgeous self, babe! The hour will start with Mo sharing a little bit about her style and inspiration before you design and create your own collage to take home!
Mo Komperda is a Chicago-based collage artist who creates fun, flirty and often psychedelic artwork. Her work is simple, and above all, celebrates the female form! A majority of her work uses vintage nude imagery and cheesecake combined with other found materials, such as Life magazines or National Geographic. Check out more of her work at www.mokomperda.com!
And remember - bring a magazine or two to cut images out of!
Taboo Tabou hosts monthly BFF Mixers to provide women, femme identifying individuals, and gender non-conforming individuals a safe space where they can meet new people without an agenda that is sexualized or in a bar setting.
