Event Overview
In this 2.5 hour workshop, participants will learn and explore several photographic transfer techniques. This workshop will include demonstrations of photo transfer techniques including: gel medium, acetone, and tape. Participants will gain a new technique to use in their creative process and leave with a finished art piece.
Open to anyone, no art making experience required!
Instructor: Brittany Campbell, MSAT, LPC
Brittany Campbell graduated from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee in 2010 with a Bachelors of Fine Art in Photography. She continued her graduate studies at Mount Mary University, and completed her Masters of Science in Art Therapy with a Concentration in Counseling in 2014.
Brittany is currently a practicing Licensed Professional Counselor and Art Therapist with The REDI Clinic in Wauwatosa, WI specializing in mental health treatment for individuals struggling with eating disorders. She facilitates the Intensive Outpatient Program for adult clients, in addition to facilitating weekly Art Therapy groups for adolescent, young adult, and adult clients.
Brittany often includes mixed media elements within her artwork with a focus on alternative photographic processes.
Snacks will be provided.

What's Provided
All materials will be provided, however if you have any sort of images you would like to play around with please feel free to bring. EX. magazines, old photographs, scanned photos on an ink jet printer, etc.

Caroline Tye is the owner of Dandelion Art Studio and also works as an art therapist at a therapeutic day school. Caroline uses the creative process and her therapeutic skills to work with children and adolescents who are diagnosed with a range of mental illnesses and behavioral issues. She brings an enthusiastic, passionate, and nurturing approach to all of her clients and students.
