Event Overview

Come learn as part of our "Cook Chinese Food Like Grandma" Series. The Art of Chinese Health Series, which includes this class, will be ending Dec 8th, 2019 and starting up again 6 to 12 months later in 2020. 


All dishes are vegetarian and all classes are extremely easy to make and designed for beginners. All supplies and materials are included. Meals can be modified for any particular diet. 


The schedule is as follows:


1st Saturday of the month: Mini Chinese Crepes (Wet Batter) - 3 ways Learn a versatile take on a Chinese Grandma's old tradition with your own creation station and plenty of food to fill your belly!


2nd Saturday of the month: Chinese "Salads" Delicious cold dishes equivalent to a Chinese salad - learn a simple and delicious Black Vinegar Garlic Cucumber Salad, Sweet and Sour Daikon, and Sesame Scallion Tofu Salad


3rd Saturday of the month: Toasted Sesame and Shanghai Baby Bokchoy Pan Fried Dumplings You'll learn how to make this completely from scratch in its original form from wrapper to filling to pan frying in this hands-on beginner's class.


4th Saturday of the month: Northeast vs Northwest Handmade Noodles Learn easy noodle styles from two different parts of Northern China and cultural knowledge of both in this Vegan noodle class that will surely be delicious. 


Your class will be conveniently located close to the Berwyn Red Line and many buses. Street parking is available usually west of Broadway.


Class sizes are small so they are extra fun and attentive.

100% of any tips made to your instructor go straight to him/her and are completely optional.

Each class must be booked separately. Students who might not be English confident, feel free to bring 1 bilingual friend for free BUT YOU MUST MESSAGE US so we know to have enough space and supplies - Thank you!
