Event Overview
Get a taste of spring in the heart of January and set your new decade intention with this gemstone terrarium workshop. Master Gardener Leelee Dameron will teach you how to care for air plants and then show you how to create your own terrarium from a variety of air plants crystals, a rainbow of sand, and natural toppings to create your own garden under glass.
If you want your terrarium to have a 2020 theme, intention, or just something sparkly, we will have a selection of rough crystals and gemstones on hand, along with their meanings, for you to choose from. You'll take home a beautiful, inspiring, unique living work of art to decorate your home, office, or next event.
We host pop-up events all around Chicago and beyond. This workshop will be in Leelee's home studio. Get inspired to create your garden in an inviting jungle living room and mini floral studio. This is a residence. Exact location provided upon purchase. You are welcome to BYOB.

Leelee is a botanical artist and the owner of Leelee's Garden. She became a master gardener in 2013 and has a background in gardening, landscape design, and floral design. Leelee is passionate about all things plants and flowers, especially creating unique designs that bring the outdoors in and sharing her love of all things botanical through workshops and private events.

I had an amazing time building my terrarium. There were so many options for planter size and materials for every aesthetic. Leelee was a great instructor and more than helpful in choosing the right materials and fixing ideas gone awry. I wish I could do this every weekend!
