Grilling season is upon us. Will you be among the bratwurst, steak or meat-a-plenty champions of the grill? We think you're ready for the challenge.
In this class, Dabblers will learn how to fine-tune their grilling skills using the basic tools they have at home. This class will demonstrate some basic butchery and carving, as well as teach some great techniques for becoming master of the grill.
Dabblers will walk away with the knowledge to rule their own barbeque as well as a few recipes to get the most out of their select meats. Expect tasting aplenty. No experience required.
Chef Allen began cooking with his mother as a young boy. Being of German immigrant parents, he was exposed to European cooking, as well as hunting and fishing, which played a key role in shaping his love for the outdoors and in forming the cooking style which he has developed over his lifetime. He has worked for several acclaimed restaurants in Chicago and has been recognized as one of the countries “best game chefs”.
