Tangy, open crumb, blistery-rugged crust. These are some of the goals of the at-home-bread baker. In this class, pastry chef Erin Silva Winston will go through the motions to get you closer to the perfect bread you crave. We will go through techniques to make a powerful starter, to create a tangy fermented dough, and to bake the bread to perfection. Participants will take home a Country Italian loaf and the ability to create their own delicious bread at home.
