The Dovetail Mini’s program offers classes for children as early as 6 weeks old through 6 years old. For the youngest children, classes introduce the child to the physical world, provide stimulation and encourage development of the spinal muscles and developmental patterns. Creative movement classes are offered for children ages 3-4, which then progress to introductory classes in the formal techniques such as ballet, tap, jazz and hip hop at age 5. All of these classes expose students to the joy of dance through movement games, creative exercises, exploration of dance styles and an introduction to dance terminology.
